My work is a reflection of life. An exploration of everyday moments, quiet discoveries, and the complex interactions that shape our society. I am drawn to materials or places that are often overlooked: fleeting moments, natural remnants or fragments of the world we live in. Whether through found materials or still observations, my practice seeks to capture the essence of transformation, offering new life to what might otherwise be forgotten. I refer to this process as “the rebirth of the material.”
Each piece emerges through a combination of experimentation, chance, and intuition. I explore how meaning emerges from what we tend to overlook. Sometimes I begin without a plan, allowing the moment itself to shape the direction of the work. Other times, I hold an idea and wait for the right circumstances to reveal themselves—trusting in a slower, more patient unfolding.
I find inspiration in the relationship between the physical and natural worlds, and in the interconnectedness of all things. I often return to the cyclical nature of life and the idea that energies can be transformed. As the philosopher Ortega y Gasset said, “I am I plus my circumstances.” My work lives within that space: shaped by presence, guided by process, and deeply rooted in the poetics of the world around me.
